Dear CPS Community,

"As I wrote in last week’s message, here in Cambridge, we are committed to finding shared understanding and opportunities to unite around common ground and solutions. This spirit of unity is imperative as we move forward with our expanded in-person learning plan for all grades beginning March 1 as well as longer term planning.

A reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on January 27th and February 3rd as staff participate in planning for the March 1 expansion of in-person learning. Food and Nutrition Services will NOT be providing meals on those days. Remote learning families are welcome to take additional meals home on the Tuesday before.

We are also beginning planning for next year’s budget, which will focus on our overarching goal of all students recovering and thriving. The CPS community is invited to participate in upcoming budget meetings, where we will ask for you to share your ideas on how CPS should use its resources to understand and address students’ academic and social-emotional/mental health needs following the COVID-19 pandemic.
