UPDATE: One Dead, One Seriously Injured in Shooting Near Mt. Auburn Hospital

CAMBRIDGE, MA - A double shooting late Tuesday night on Mount Auburn St. near the hospital has left one dead and another seriously injured, according a statement from the Middlesex District Attorney's office.

Armando Hernandez, Jr., 30, of Belmont, has been identified as the person killed.

Cambridge Police responded to reports of gunshots near the 300 block of Mount Auburn St. just before 10 p.m., authorities said. There they found two males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
