Sublime and Serene Easter Joy

Night Song at the First Church in Cambridge presents a special Easter program

Night Song is a special program put on by the First Church in Cambridge, 11 Garden Street, Cambridge, MA, every Sunday evening at 7:30pm. This program fosters meditation and contemplation, providing a refuge from the stress and frantic pace of daily lives. On Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019 at 7:30PM Night Song will present a special Easter program, "Sublime and Serene Easter Joy."

The program will feature:

Gregorian chant from The Liber Usualis
Sequence Hymn: Victimae paschali laudes, plainchant
Setting for compline in the Lydian mode by Daryl Bichel
Haec dies by William Byrd
Regina caeli laetare by Heinrich Isaac
Contemplative improvisations on Easter hymns
