Teen Arrested In Cambridge Murder
A Cambridge teen has been charged with the November murder of Malachi Mims.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a November murder in Cambridge. Kevin Reddick, of Cambridge, was charged with the murder of 28-year-old Malachi Mims, Middlesex DA Marian Ryan and Cambridge Police Commissioner Branville Bard Jr.
Reddick was arrested Sunday on Stuart Street in Boston. He was charged murder, armed assault with intent to murder, two counts of armed assault with intent to rob, possession of a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition and possession of a loaded firearm.
On the evening of Nov. 16, Cambridge Police responded to a shooting at Tremont and Hampshire Street in Cambridge. They located Mims and transported him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the shooting was not random.
An arraignment date has not been scheduled.
