24th Annual Canton Fall Classic Road Race Gives Back To Canton

CANTON, MA – The Canton Fall Classic road race celebrated its 24th year on Sunday, October 28. The race was a huge success with approximately 900 runners. As an expression of our thanks to the support that the Town of Canton, and its’ citizens provided, the Canton Fall Classic is
proud to give back to the community.

“On behalf of our sponsors and participants, the Canton Fall Classic organizing committee delivered a check in the amount of $1,000 to the Canton Food Pantry,”explained Melissa Mayer, one of the race organizers. Melissa continued, “We are glad to be in a position to help out the Pantry with this donation.” The Canton Food Pantry serves 300 needy elderly and families who depend on food, toiletries and monetary donations to keep their heads above water.

The planning for the 25th annual Canton Fall Classic Road Race has already begun with the expectation to have the largest number of participants ever. As details unfold, they will be posted on the Canton Fall Classic website, www.cantonfallclassic.com.
