Canton Resident Lawrence Richards Joins Salem Five as Market Manager at New Concord Location

Salem Five has announced that Lawrence Richards has been appointed to the position of market manager at Salem Five’s newest branch location in Concord. In this role he will be responsible for consumer and business banking, overseeing sales activities, managing the Concord team and becoming an involved participant in community events and programs.

 

“We are very excited to have Lawrence leading the sales team at our Concord location,” said Salem Five President and CEO Joseph M. Gibbons. “His leadership experience, both in the office and out in the community, is such an asset to Salem Five, especially as we continue to grow in Middlesex County.”

Mr. Richards has extensive experience in banking, having worked in the industry for 18 years, most recently at Bank of America, where he was vice president of small business banking. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Framingham State University and is a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Mr. Richards is an active member of his community, having served on the board of the neighborhood revitalization program, Boston Main Streets, and as an assistant den leader for his local Cub Scout troop. He lives in Canton, Mass.
