Network Health Director of Provider Marketing and Health Promotion
Elected to Canton, Massachusetts Planning Board
MEDFORD, Mass. — Network Health, a nonprofit Massachusetts health plan that provides access to high-quality, comprehensive health coverage for more than 215,000 Massachusetts residents, announced today that Tori McClain, the health plan’s director of provider marketing and health promotion, has been elected to the Canton Planning Board for a five-year term.
“Tori has shown the true meaning of my favorite saying ‘government is run by those who show up,’” said 11-year planning board member Jeremy Comeau. “I am glad that instead of fighting town hall from the outside she has chosen to change it from within. I am eager and excited to work with her in shaping the future of Canton and its citizens.”

“On the planning board, I plan to represent the concerned citizen,” said McClain. “I want to provide our Canton government the honesty, accountability, and transparency we all deserve. Moving forward, I would love to see Canton grow in terms of diversity and globalization while maintaining its sense of community and commitment to its residents.”
McClain joined Network Health as director of provider marketing and health promotion in November 2012. In this role, she directs all marketing efforts associated with provider acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. She also oversees all communications supporting the health plan’s strategic initiatives to improve care quality and promote healthy behavior. Prior to joining Network Health, McClain served as director of marketing at Consumer’s Medical Resource in Pembroke, Mass. McClain graduated from the University of Tennessee and was featured in Memphis Advertising Federation’s “Thirty Under Thirty to Watch.” She is currently a member of several professional organizations, including the National and Northeast Business Groups on Health and the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.
McClain has been a Massachusetts resident since 2004 and a Canton resident for three years, during which time she has attended town committee meetings and joined with other concerned citizens to petition for changes. McClain, whose son attends the Massachusetts Hospital School, loves that Canton is a safe place for families. She plans to keep that perspective in mind while working with others on strategies regarding the growth of the town.
