Real Estate Market featured on “The Law, Your Money and You”

Three area real estate professionals provided good news to local residents at a recent panel discussion on “Today’s Real Estate Market:  Is This the Time to Buy or Sell a Home?”

Richie Gorden, Sharon realtor and appraiser, told the audience how much home sales have improved in the past year.   Chip Coveney, Senior Vice President of Consumer Lending for Eastern Bank, explained what it takes to qualify for a mortgage, and where rates are today.

And to make your home sell more quickly, Linda Shepherd, a professional home stager, gave tips on making your home more appealing to prospective buyers.

The event was part of the ongoing “Live at the Library” series, presented by “The Law, Your Money and You,” a community educational program co-hosted by Roberta Saphire and Camille Barron.   A production of Sharon Community Television, the program is airing on Channel 8 in Sharon.
