The Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation today announced it donated $10,000 to HESSCO Elder Services to support the organization’s Care Transition Program, which works to ease the transition for elderly patients from the hospital to their homes. Based in Sharon, HESSCO Elder Services offers a wide variety of services throughout Sharon, Canton, Dedham, Foxborough, Medfield, Millis, Norfolk, Norwood, Plainville, Walpole, Westwood, and Wrentham that help elders live independently in their homes.
“Rockland Trust is proud to support organizations like HESSCO Elder Services that are committed to the physical and social well-being of the people in our community,” said Mark Coletta, Vice President and Manager of Rockland Trust’s Foxborough branch. “We believe it is important to provide elders the services they need to live a safe and happy life and we are pleased to help HESSCO achieve its mission.”
HESSCO Elder Services offers home care, money management, legal services, meal-delivery, and nutrition counseling to elders in the South Norfolk County community at no cost or for a minimal fee. The organization’s goal is to make it easier for older individuals and families to access comprehensive health and supportive services.
