The Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB), in
its second year of partnering with Massachusetts nonprofit uAspire, today announced the launch of this year’s scholarship program. Through this fund, GBREB will award more than $100,000 in scholarships to approximately 60 students from 54 cities and towns, including Canton, and throughout Eastern Massachusetts*. This year, GBREB is doubling the amount given in 2012. Scholarships will be based on financial need, academic achievement, leadership, extra-curricular involvement, and written essays.
Students have until April 1, 2013 to apply. Applications are available through the Greater Boston Real Estate Board’s local member companies, as well as through their local schools. Students can also access the application on uAspire’s website at www.uaspire.org. Awards will range from $1,000 to $5,000 per student and will be guaranteed for two years.
*Students from the following 54 towns are eligible to apply:
