Assault charge dismissed

Taylor Alexander, 25, of 80 Getchell Way, Canton had a charge of assault and battery dismissed in Quincy District Court. The charge stemmed from a Aug. 26, 2011 incident in Quincy after police responded to a report of a dispute.
