Boston Marathon Explosions: Medical Tent Nurse Describes Monday Scene to Canton Patch

Despite the ideal climate and sunshine, Monday turned into a dark day for Boston after two explosions left three dead and more than 120 injured.
Law enforcement officials, meanwhile, are searching for who is responsible for detonating the blasts explosives near the finish line at the Boston Marathon.
Reported explosions from the annual Boston Marathon left runners, attendees, officials, and residents across the state shaken.

Canton Patch readers took to Facebook on Monday to relay thoughts from the ground in Boston. One reader in particular served as a nurse in one of the medical tents on the ground, and gave a vivid description of what was taking place.
"I was a nurse in a medical tent which quickly became a trauma tent the explosion shook the ground," June Scott told Canton Patch on Facebook. "We were taking care of severe injuries and some even lost limbs."
