CANTON, MA — Fire Chief Charles Doody is reminding residents that the town's open burning season has ended. The burning season for brush, driftwood, tree pruning, and other forestry ended Wednesday. The burning season spanned from Jan. 15 to May 1. "I would like to thank our residents for another safe Open Burning Season this year," Doody said in a statement.

CANTON, MA — Fire Chief Charles Doody is reminding residents that the town’s open burning season has ended. The burning season for brush, driftwood, tree pruning, and other forestry ended Wednesday. The burning season spanned from Jan. 15 to May 1.

"I would like to thank our residents for another safe Open Burning Season this year," Doody said in a statement.
