This new summer camp is for children entering first grade through sixth grade in the fall of 2015. There will also be coed sport specific camps for children age 7 through 12.
This summer, the Blue Hills Regional campus at 800 Randolph Street in Canton will be abuzz with an amazing variety of activities for children in the general summer day camp, where exciting and enriching programs galore await. At Camp Blue, campers have a traditional day camp experience as well as the chance to explore specific areas of interest in one of many specialty camps.
The specialty camps will concentrate on skill development and game strategy for the sport chosen. The choices include boys’ lacrosse, coed basketball, coed street hockey, coed introduction to golf, coed flag football, coed multi-sports, coed soccer, coed swimming and diving, girls’ field hockey and girls’ lacrosse. Each of these camps have half-day option for just the specific sport in the mornings or select a full day and children will be placed in their appropriate age groups for the afternoon.
Children can select from a variety of sports, games, crafts, swimming lessons and recreational swim, archery and many more camp favorite activities. There are also special events such as Carnival Day, traveling zoos, storytellers, a talent show as well as other themed activities.
All programs are created and run by caring and committed educators who seek to provide a vibrant, safe, and stimulating environment for the campers. The camp staff is dedicated to making every camper feel acknowledged and supported as they try new things and interact with others.
The goal is to provide each camper with a memorable summer filled with new adventures and lasting friendships.
