Canton Accepting Nomination Papers For 2019 Town Election
Find out what positions are on the Canton ballot in 2019.
CANTON, MA — Town election season is officially open. Nomination papers for the town election on April 2 are now available.
Voters in 2019 will have plenty of decisions to make, 10 positions are up for a vote on the April ballot. Candidates have until Feb. 8 to pick up nomination papers, and until Feb. 12 to collect at least 50 signatures and withdraw the papers. Make sure to check back here to see who's running.

- Board of Selectmen - Three-year term
- Board of Selectmen - Two-year term to fill a vacancy
- Board of Assessors - Three-year term
- Board of Health - Three year term.
- School Committee (two positions) - Three-year term
- Planning Board - Five-year term
- Trustees of Public Library (three positions) - Three-year term
