The Humboldt Truck Pull has been held in Boston for the past five years. In that time, over $75,000 has been raised for the health and sports programs of Special Olympics Massachusetts. Those entering teams include police, fitness enthusiasts, corporate teams as well as other moving companies in Boston.
This year’s event will also include a family-friendly “Touch a Truck” event that will include a whole host of emergency vehicles that children of all ages can explore. And the Irish Cultural Centre will be serving up traditional Irish food and beverages.
“Special Olympics runs a very important program here in Massachusetts and we are honored once again to be raising money for these athletes,” states James Sullivan, president of Humboldt Storage and Moving. “Anyone who feels they can put a team together and pull a few trucks will be welcome here at this event.”
