Canton Drama Presents Footloose This Weekend
Canton High School Drama's annual fall musical is this weekend. Footloose performances are Friday & Saturday at 7:00 pm at Canton High.

The Canton High School Drama Club is proud to present “Footloose” for their annual fall musical.
Most remember Footloose from the original 1984 movie starring Kevin Bacon as Ren McCormack. In 1998 it was adapted as a musical for stage and there was a re-make of the movie in 2011. Footloose is the story of a Chicago teen whose family relocated to a small town where a local minister has banned dancing and rock music. Along with his new friends, Ren tries to reverse the ban and get the high school to hold a senior prom. Of course, Ren’s love interest is the minister’s daughter. I’m sure most people know how it ends - but if not you’ll just have to see the show. The music and dancing are fantastic.
Canton High’s performances of Footloose are on Friday November 14th and Saturday November 15th at 7:00 pm at Canton High’s Morse Auditorium. Tickets are sold at the door. The cost of admission is $12.00 or $10.00 for students, staff and seniors.
