Dominique Purvis, 22, was arraigned in Quincy District Court this week and charged with drugged driving, child endangerment, giving a false name to a police officer, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense). He also had an outstanding court warrant as a fugitive from justice.

Police described Purvis as slow to respond to their question.
After his vehicle was searched, marijuana was discovered in the front of the car. When Purvis allegedly said he had a legal level of marijuana, police replied that it was still illegal to drive high with a child in the car.
