Canton Man Dies in Fatal Car Crash in Easton

A Canton man has died after a serious car crash on Bay Road early Sunday morning.

At around 5 a.m., a pickup truck traveling north on Bay Road went off the road, hit a tree; telephone pole; and a guardrail before rolling over.

When police and fire crews arrived to the scene, they discovered the truck on its roof.

The only occupant of the vehicle was Vincent Saquet, 29. Police needed the jaws of life to remove Saquet from the truck. He was med-flighted to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries. He later died from his injuries according to Police Chief Allen Krajcik.

The Massachusetts State Police accident reconstruction team assisted with the investigation.
