Canton Man Sentenced For Coke, Gun Convictions
A Canton man pleaded guilty over the summer to drug and weapons charges stemming from a 2016 investigation in Framingham.

CANTON, MA – A Canton man was sentenced Thursday in federal court after pleading guilty to drug and weapon charges over the summer, the U.S. Attorney's office said. Hollis Owens, 44, was sentenced to four years in prison and three years of supervised release.
He pleaded guilty to one count of being a felon in possession of ammunition and four counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
Police in Framingham bought cocaine from Owens several times in the spring of 2016 during an investigation into cocaine dealing in the city, according to the USAO. Officers searched his home that April and found about 18 grams of crack cocaine, a loaded Smith & Wesson 9-mm handgun, 114 rounds of various caliber ammunition and $1,869 in cash, authorities said.

Owens was barred from owning a firearm due to a previous state felony conviction.
