Canton
Larceny case continued for hearing
Connor D. Sullivan, 21, of 257 Rockland St., Canton, had charges of larceny over $250 and receiving stolen property over $250 continued to Jan. 23 for a hearing in Stoughton District Court.
The charges stem from a May 16, 2011 incident in Stoughton at 4:25 p.m. when police responded to a report of an Echo backpack blower stolen from a truck owned by Color It Green Landscaping at approximately 1 p.m. The blower was later found at Tradersworld in Brockton where Sullivan allegedly sold the equipment for $50. The backpack blower is worth $500 new and $250 used, police said in the incident report.
Traffic charges against Hyde Park resident dismissed
Kern Bazie, 30, of 72 Washington St., Hyde Park, had charges of possession or use of a false or stolen Registry of Motor Vehicles document and a license plate violation to conceal dismissed in Stoughton District Court. A related charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle was continued without a guilty finding to March 28. Bazie was found not responsible on a related charge of operating a unregistered motor vehicle. The charges stem from an April 2, 2011 incident in Canton at 8 p.m. as police were conducting a random check of license plate numbers on Route 138.

Braintree
Alleged unlicensed driver fails to show up at arraignment
Gelissa Objio, 24, of 40 Lawrence Ave., Apt. 12, Boston, failed to appear at an arraignment in Quincy District Court on a charge of driving after license suspension, a subsequent offense. A judge issued an arrest warrant.
The charge stems from a July 6, 2011 incident in Braintree at 4:19 p.m. when police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Granite and North streets. Police cited Objio after they determined the driver's license was suspended.
Whitman man who allegedly threatened to kill brother dodges arraignment
Daniel J. Mikenas, 23, of 104 Whidden Ave., Whitman, failed to appear at an arraignment in Quincy District Court on a charge of threatening to commit a crime. A judge issued an arrest warrant. The charge stems from a July 5, 2011 incident in Braintree. Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a Braintree residence where Mikenas allegedly threatened to kill his brother during an argument, police said in the incident report.
Traffic charge against Braintree woman dismissed
Jean C. Viana, 29, of 57 Hancock St., Apt. 1, Braintree, had a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dismissed in Quincy District Court upon her agreement to pay $50 in court costs. The charge stems from a June 26, 2011 incident in Braintree at 11:30 p.m. when police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection with Pearl and Ivory streets.
Milton
Alleged check forger ditches arraignment
Joey Dorvil, 23, of 74 Brook Road, Milton, failed to appear for an arraignment in Quincy District Court on charges of uttering a false check and forgery of a check. A judge issued an arrest warrant.

The charges stem from a July 8, 2011 incident in Quincy at 1:28 p.m. when police responded to a report of a person passing a bogus check at All Town Check Cashing, 34 School St. Police said the check totaled $1,463.75. The check allegedly was made out to Dorvil, but a representative of the company that allegedly issued the check said it was a forgery, according to the police incident report.
Assault and battery case in hands of jury in March
Terence M. Mayo Jr., 21, of 30 Sheldon St., Milton, had charges of assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon continued to March 6 for a jury trial in Quincy District Court.
The charges stem from a May 7, 2011 incident in Milton at 2:55 a.m. when police responded to a report of two males fighting on Adams Street. A witness said one of the males was pushing the other's head into the pavement and punching him, according to the police incident report.
