Canton Police Log: Assault, Battery on a Police Officer Results in Juvenile Arrest

Monday, March 25

5:01 p.m. - A 35-year-old Canton man was charged with driving without a license and no inspection sticker on Dedham Street. 

8:37 p.m. - A 24-year-old Canton man was charged with driving an uninsured motor vehicle where the registration had been revoked on Bolivar Street and Washington Street.

Wednesday, March 27

3:20 p.m. - A 23-year-old Westwood man was charged with identity fraud, forgery of a document and larceny under $250 by credit card at the 99 Restaurant on Turnpike Street in Canton.

Thursday, March 28

7:11 p.m. - A 28-year-old Canton woman was charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding on Dedham Street.

11:24 p.m. - A dispute ended in the arrest of a 49-year-old Canton man on Neponset Street; he was later brought in to protective custody.

Friday, March 29

12:03 a.m. - A robbery at the Austin's Mobil Station on Washington Street ended in an arrest of a 36 year old Stoughton, Massachusetts male who was charged with assault to rob and an armed attempt to commit a crime.

Saturday, March 30

5:42 p.m. - A motor vehicle stop of a 38 year old Canton, Massachusetts female for driving an uninsured vehicle where the registration had been revoked. The motor vehicle was towed. 

11:22 p.m. - A juvenile arrest of a 17-year-old Canton male after a neighbor reported noise and disorderly conduct at a home on Bolivar Street. The arrest was made for assault and battery on a police officer, intimidating a witness, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.  

Sunday, March 31

12 p.m. - A 26-year-old Stoughton woman was charged with driving without a license, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation after an accident at the 99 Restaurant on Turnpike Street.
