Canton scored twice in the first half to beat the, 3-0, at Sharon's Gavin's Pond Road fields on Friday.
Canton junior Lauren Berman closed the scoring with 1:30 left in the game.
"I think we won the second half," Sharon Head Coach Jon Lavien said.

"They scored at the very end. But they're the number one team in the Hock, and to hold them to 3-0 isn't bad."
Bulldogs (2-0) head coach Paul Turner said Berman's goal made Canton's lead comfortable.

"2-0 is one of those where they had a chance to get back in it at 2-1," Turner said.
"I thought that if they did, we were going to be under a lot of pressure."
Canton senior Vickey Tondre scored first, with 10:31 left in the first half. Senior Kayla Laughlin made the score 2-0 with 2:47 left in the half.
Sharon (0-1) played its season opener after rain twice postponed Wednesday's match at Fontbonne Academy, now to Sept. 14.
