Canton Stolen Car, Break-In Suspect Caught In Boston
A man arrested in Boston this week was driving a car reported stolen in Canton.

CANTON, MA – A man arrested Tuesday in Boston had items stolen during break-ins in Canton and Milton in his car, which had also been reported stolen, police said.
Around 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a report of a person stabbed on Abbot Street. Police were told that a man seen getting out of a red Honda was bleeding from his face and appeared to have a gun. The man, later identified as 50-year-old Daniel Mulholland, of Dorchester, saw the officers and fled, first in the car and then on foot, police said.
He was found on Harvard Street bleeding from a cut on his arm.

Police detained Mulholland while additional officers followed a trail of blood to a residence on Vesta Road, where he had allegedly broken into the basement. Investigators also learned the Honda had been reported stolen in Canton, according to police.
No gun was recovered.

Officers found items on Mulholland and in his car that had been reported stolen during residential break-ins in Milton and Canton and a break-in at the 99 Restaurant in Canton earlier that day, police said. Mulholland is also believed to be connected to break-ins in Avon, Hingham, Hanover and Norwell, and a stolen car in Hyde Park, according to police.
He has been charged with breaking and entering (daytime), receiving stolen property, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and refusal to submit.
