Canton Would Get $150k In State Economic Development Bill
The state House and Senate agreed on a $627 million economic development bill Wednesday.
CANTON, MA — The Massachusetts House and Senate agreed on a $627 million economic development bill early Wednesday morning, which would provide $150,000 for projects in Canton.
The bill, which was passed almost unanimously following a session that lasted until after 4 a.m., now heads to Gov. Charlie Baker's desk for approval.
The bill would provide funding for the following projects in Canton:

- $50,000 for local economic development projects
- $100,000 to the Canton Housing Authority for the renovation, reconstruction, and improvement of existing housing units
