Catholic Charities Hosts Boston Marathon Fundraiser in Braintree

Norton resident Vincent Greene will be a part of the CCAB Boston Marathon Team

WHAT:

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston (CCAB) will host a fundraiser on behalf of the CCAB Boston Marathon Team in an effort to support the poor and working poor of Greater Boston.

The fundraiser at Dave & Buster’s Restaurant in Braintree will help the team meet its goal of raising $45,000 for CCAB, 100 percent of which will go towards CCAB programs, such as childcare, Youth Tutoring Youth (YTY), basic needs services and adult education.

  • 1st time running for CCAB
  • 2013 Boston Marathon story – Sarah was a nursing student volunteering at the finish line that jumped in to help as a first responder.

Patrick Mooney

o 1st time running for CCAB

o 2013 Boston Marathon story – Patrick planned to propose to his then girlfriend, now wife, Megan who was running in the marathon.
