Escape on Martini Monday

Plan a ladies night with friends this Monday to head to the Halfway Cafe for martini specials and painting your own martini glass.

Each week Canton Patch will tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break and escape from it all by visiting local hotspots and area events. Each Great Escape feature is meant to make your life a little easier, and maybe even a bit more exciting and fun by discovering new places and things to do locally.

When the weekend is over and you are back to having a case of the Mondays, a with friends might just perk up the rest of the week for you. How about a martini night with a twist? (And I don’t mean a twist of lime, although I’m sure that can be arranged.)

On May 23, starting at 7:00 p.m. and the paint your own pottery shop, in Canton, are teaming up to host a fun night out for the ladies where you can not only drink some martinis, but also have some fun painting your own martini glass.

Round up some girlfriends to enjoy the drink specials like a Blueberry Martini, a Cape Cod Cosmo or a Chocolate Martini. Complimentary appetizers courtesy of the Halfway Café will also be available.

Cathy from Ceramics a la Carte will be on hand to supply everything you need to paint and create your custom designed martini glass.
