5th Annual Massasoit Arts Festival

Giant Steamroller Printmaking Demonstration at the 5^th Annual Massasoit Arts Festival, May 19^th,10 – 5PM

Members of the Ink Monkeys Printmaking Collaborative will turn the sidewalk into a press bed, and an actual steamroller into an outdoor press, to create giant 4’ X 6’ prints. Plain, fancy, decorative, and sleek fonts will turn simple letters of the alphabet into unique works of art. Demonstration at 1:30, by the Academic Entrance across from the main parking lot. Young festival-goers can print their own lunch bags at the near by Children’s Activity Tent.

Free admission, and free parking. The Arts Festival features the Open Juried Art Show under a giant tent, the Massasoit Students Juried Show in the Akillian Gallery, and the Regional High School Juried Art Show 4^th floor art studios. Fine Arts Crafters, Ceramics Studio Demonstrations, Face Painting, Raffles, and live radio broadcast by 95.9 WATD-FM. Gourmet food trucks from Captain Marden’s Seafood, and Kick-ss Cupcakes, and Boston Italian Ice wagon will be serving 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
