Friends of the Blue Hills are hosting an outdoor event: Quincy Quarries: Taken for Graniteon Saturday, November 12th, at 1:00pm. Les Tyrala, a register geologist, will lead the group as you adventure into the Quincy Quarries and learn about their history and why granite is so highly valued. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. Some of the trails are narrow and rugged and require some climbing.
