Floral Scents & From the Pumpkin Patch annual costume drive!

With the average price of a Halloween costume nearing $35, costumes have become a luxury that is often beyond the reach of many family budgets. In an effort to make sure that every child can experience the magic of Halloween.

For the past five years, Floral Scents has partnered with From the Pumpkin Patch, an organization that collects both used and new costumes and accessories to be given away for free to low-income children at an annual event held just prior to Halloween.

FROM THE PUMPKIN PATCH has given away thousands of costumes. They have watched as children screamed in delight at finding the perfect costume, listened to parents describe how this is the first costume their children have ever had and marveled at the generosity of all the families who donated items to the cause.

Costume collection bins will be located at Floral Scents, 604 Washington Street in Canton from 9-6 Mon-Fri. and 9-3 on Saturdays.

From the Pumpkin Patch accepts both gently used and new costumes in any size. While labeled costumes in clear bags are appreciated, it is not required. They do not accept sports uniforms, dance costumes or non-costume clothes.
