Hammond Hingham Office Displays Jeff Thiebauth’s Photography Exhibit: Legends of Music

Hingham, MA – February 18, 2014 – Jeff Forsythe, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Hingham office located at 98 South Street, is pleased to announce that the office will be displaying Jeff Thiebauth’s Photography Exhibit: Legends of Music, from February 23 through March 25, 2014. A reception to celebrate the opening of the exhibit will take place on Sunday, February 23 from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM.  The photographer, Jeff Thiebauth, will be at the reception to discuss his work.

Jeff Thiebauth is a freelance commercial and editorial photographer currently based on the South Shore and a former contributor to the Boston Phoenix newspaper during the 1980’s. In addition to covering news, events, and politicians for the Boston Phoenix, Thiebauth regularly acquired press passes for live music assignments, which offered the rare opportunity to shoot musicians directly from the lip of the stage at some of Boston’s prominent music venues, including the Paradise and the Berklee Performance Center. This now difficult-to-obtain unrestricted access that Jeff experienced between 1978 and 1992 has resulted in an impressive collection of black white photographs featuring some of the world’s most iconic musicians, including U2, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Devo, Miles Davis, Neil Young, and The Pretenders.

Manager Jeff Forsythe said, “We are extremely pleased to present Jeff’s debut photography exhibit in our Hingham office. His collection of photographs is impressive, and they provide a rare opportunity to view some of the world’s most influential musicians from a unique vantage point. We encourage everyone to view Jeff’s works in our office, as they truly convey the excitement of the Boston music scene during the period from the late 1970’s to the early 1990’s.”
