Human Remains Found Near Interstate 95/93 Split
Authorities say a driver found human remains a modest distance from the roadway.
CANTON, MA — A person who stopped to help a driver in need of assistance on Interstate 95 found human remains, the Norfolk County District Attorney's office said.
The remains were found Wednesday afternoon on the southbound side of the highway just south of the Interstate 95/93 split in Canton.
State Police are investigating the matter. The body is expected to undergo an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Boston as soon as Thursday.

The investigation is in the preliminary stages, according to the DA's office.
