Irish Cultural Centre in Canton to host ICC Galway Races Gala
A Summertime GALA at the ICC - live music, fine dining, prosecco and dancing! Open to the public.

Canton, MA - On Saturday, July 31st the Irish Cultural Centre (ICC) in Canton will host the Inaugural ICC Galway Races Gala starting at 6 p.m. Net proceeds will benefit new programming at the ICC.
The Gala, hosted by the Young Professionals of the ICC, will feature a tasting of Kerrygold cheeses, horse racing, raffles, and more. Guests will walk the green carpet in their best races outfits and receive a welcome glass of prosecco. Later a gourmet carvery dinner will be served while the O’Donnell family, a trio from Co. Mayo, plays a trad session. Irish dancers from the Harney Academy will also perform. There will also be samplings of Irish whiskey and gin from Clonakilty Distillery in Co. Cork, and a decadent dessert table.
Prizes will be awarded to the Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female and Best Head Piece. Judges will include: Martina Curtain, President of the ICC; Clodagh Boyle of the Irish American Partnership; Jessica Callahan, On-Air Personality 101.7 The Bull; and Liam Harney, world champion Irish dancer of the Harney-Pender-Keady Irish Dance Academy. The ICC organizing committee will wear exclusive head pieces created by renowned Irish milliner Marie Galvin.

Attendees will dance the night away to the live music of local renowned band Sláinte and enjoy the spread of Irish food and drinks. Those who purchase a table for 8 will receive a special gift bag from Clonakilty.
