Lost Hikers Found Safe and Sound in the Blue Hills
A father and his two children were found after getting lost Friday night hiking in the Blue Hills.

A father and his two children who went for a hike on the hiking trails Friday night and lost their way were found safely by Massachusetts State Police.
"They appear to be in good health," according to a statement by the Massachusetts State Police Media Office. "They were located by a canine from a local department who was assisting with the search."
The dad and his kids, ages six and seven, called 911 around 9:10 p.m. Friday, stating that they were lost in the Blue Hills.

The call came into the Milton State Police barracks and troopers immediately responded, setting up a command post in the area, according to State Police.
A helicopter, canine units and state troopers all searched for the missing family.

A canine unit located the missing hikers around 9:45 p.m., about 35 minutes after their call for help. The family was in good condition last night, according to State Police.
