New Dental Clinic Opens at Mass Hospital School in Canton
The Tufts Dental School program runs the new clinic at the Mass Hospital School in Canton.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the Department of Developmental Services and Tufts University recently celebrated the opening of their new dental clinic at the This clinic is the newest addition to the Tufts Dental School Division of Special Care and Dentistry program, which provides dental services to the developmentally disabled. The Special Care program treats an average of 10,000 patients annually and is comprised of seven facilities, making it the largest program of its kind in the country.
Representative William C. Galvin (D-Canton) and the Massachusetts Commissioner of Public Health, John Auerbach, attended the ceremonies.
“I toured the facility and it is first rate. It is wonderful that the kids here at the Mass Hospital School have access to a clinic equipped with the latest technology,” stated Representative Galvin.
