Due to Falling Trees and Wires, Police Tell Canton to Stay Inside
Over 1,800 homes are without power.

CANTON, MA - The latest snow storm to hit Canton has certainly taken its toll on the town.
As of 2:47 p.m., 1,855 homes are without power, according to the Eversource power outage map. The number represents 18 percent of homes in town.
With trees and wires causing damage, police are asking residents to say inside.

“We are asking you to please stay indoors, especially children. Numerous trees and branches are coming down creating an extremely dangerous situation,” the Canton Police Department wrote on Twitter.
Currently, there is no restoration time.
