Owner of Canton Spa Found Guilty of Prostitution Charges

Terry Mussari, 50, was found guilty of multiple prostitution charges.

CANTON, MA — A Stoughton woman has been found guilty of running a prostitution operation at spas she owned in Brockton and Norwood.

Terry Mussari, 50, was convicted by a jury in Norfolk County Superior Court of two counts of deriving support from prostitution, two counts of maintaining a house of prostitution, two counts of keeping a house of ill fame, three counts of minimum wage violations, and three counts of failure to provide suitable pay stubs, according to the state's Attorney General's office.

Mussari was arrested in 2011 following an investigation into allegations that Mussari's spas, the Aria Day Spa in Brockton and Spa Bellissimo in Norwood, were offering sex for a fee. Investigators learned that masseuses employed by Mussari were categorizing sexual activity between them and the customers as tips, the AG's office said.
