Paul R. Matthews Foundation to host the Fourth Annual "Celebration of Community Spirit" Fundraiser

The Paul R. Matthews Foundation is pleased to announce the fourth annual Celebration of Community Spirit at Pequitside Farm in Canton, MA will take place on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 7pm. In addition to the silent auction, raffles, and refreshments, this year’s celebration features a performance by Renee Rancourt of Boston Bruins fame.
This celebration raises funds for the Paul R. Matthews Foundation, established in memory of Paul, a long time member of the Canton School Committee and advocate for the youth of the community. The foundation’s mission is to support the children and students of Canton through scholarships and programs.
Previous Celebration of Community Spirit events have enabled the foundation to provide annual scholarships to two Canton High School seniors who exemplify a significant commitment to sportsmanship, scholastics, and the community. The foundation also provides grants to a variety of programs, including the television production classes at Canton High School, the Canton Historical Society, the Canton Garden and Food Project, the Canton High School Robotics Program, and several other unique educational and community programs.

With Renee Rancourt performing the National Anthem and wonderful silent auction items, it is sure to be a great time for all.”
