Police Log: Credit Car Fraud at Canton Town Taxi, Larceny at CVS

The following excerpts are from the Canton police log from Aug. 23-26. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, August 23:

At 2:57 p.m. police arrested Calvin Toller, 59 of Norwood for driving with a license that was suspended for drunk driving.  The arrest was made on Fern Brook Circle.

At 4:45 p.m. a caller reported malicious damage on Washington Street.

At 8:46 p.m. police arrested a 21-year-old Malden man for driving an uninsured and unregistered vehicle on Washington Street.

Saturday, August 24:

At 1:07 a.m. police arrested a 29 year-old Brockton man for driving an uninsured and unregistered vehicle on Washington Street.

At 8:50 p.m. a caller reported a larceny on Rustlewood Drive.

At 11:59 p.m. a caller reported hearing gun shots on Red Tail Run 

Sunday, August 25:

At 10:35 a.m. police arrested Christopher Melin, 21, of Mansfield for an improper use of a credit card (under $250) at Canton Town Taxi on Lincoln Street.

At 3:05 p.m. police arrested Michael Marchione, 23 of Stoughton for larcent under $250 at the CVS on Washington Street.

Monday, August 26:

At 5:13 p.m. a caller reported harassment on Westdale Road.
