Police Nab Canton Bank Robber Tuesday Night
The man who held up a Canton bank was caught with "sticky fingers" by police Tuesday night.
This bank robber could not hide for long. With the FBI, Canton Police and the Bank Robbery Task Force on his trail, the man who robbed the last Wednesday ran out of luck Tuesday night.
Police arrested Christopher Decareau, 27, of Peabody, on the Andover/Tewksbury line tonight, according to .
He was caught "going into a bank putting Band-Aids on his fingers" to conceal his fingerprints and with the same note he used in the Canton bank robbery, the chief told Canton Patch.

The Bank Robbery Task Force, the FBI and Canton Police detectives had become aware of Decareau after the Bank of Canton was robbed, Chief Berkowitz said.
Decareau, according to police, is responsible for similar robberies around the state, including a robbery in Braintree last week.
