Shoplifter Pepper-Sprays Marshalls Guard In Canton, Flees: PD

CANTON, MA — Police are looking to identify a man and woman they said shoplifted from the Marshalls on Washington Street and assaulted the security guard who confronted them. On Saturday, April 6, the two suspects were caught shoplifting by one of the store's loss prevention officers, police said.

When confronted, the woman shot pepper spray at the security guard, giving both suspects time to run away, police said.
