Come celebrate music in the Canton Public Schools! Cantonstock is a music festival featuring every performance group from every one of the Canton Public Schools. It is run by MusicCounts!, Canton’s music booster organization. Cantonstock is the major fundraiser for MusicCounts!. Organized in 2001 by parents, music teachers and administrators, MusicCounts! has increased support and awareness of the importance of music in the Canton Schools. MusicCounts! helps provide scholarships for private lessons, funds after-school ensembles and provides funding for items outside of the performing arts department regular budget.
In addition to hearing some great ensembles, visitors can enjoy music-themed arcade games, a cake walk, raffles, silent auctions and more! A $1.00 entrance fee will give you access to all that Cantonstock has to offer.
Cantonstock 2014 will be held on Saturday, November 8th, from 12-4 at Canton High School! Come find out all the great things that are happening with music in the Canton Public Schools.
