MassDOT’s contractor McCourt Construction will begin paving I-93 Northbound (Rte 128 SB) from Rte 138 (Exit 2A) to Ponkapoag Bridge (Exit 3) Friday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. to Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. This will involve lane restrictions.
The contractor will maintain two lanes of traffic on I-93 NB (Rte 128 SB) from Friday 8 p.m. to Saturday 10 a.m. and three lanes of traffic from Saturday 10 a.m. to completion on Saturday at 7 p.m..
Motorists in this area should expect delays and should reduce speed and use caution while approaching and traveling through the work zone. Drivers may wish to seek alternate routes to avoid congestion.
