Video Released Of Suspect Vehicle In Canton Home Invasion

"This was not a random attack," police said.

CANTON, MA – Police have released a video of a vehicle they believe to be connected to a home invasion in Canton earlier this week, during which an elderly man was allegedly pistol-whipped. The home invasion was reported around 11 a.m. Tuesday morning on Arboretum Way.

The three suspects, described as Hispanic males wearing hoodies – two blue and one black – allegedly entered the home of an elderly man and his wife. Two of the suspects were carrying weapons, and the male resident was "severely" beaten in the head with a pistol, police said. He was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects fled the area in what is believed to be a Chrysler Pacifica with four people inside. A motive has not yet been determined, but in a video released Thursday, police said "this was not a random attack."
