Woman in 2013 Crash Near Stoughton-Canton Line Found Guilty of Motor Vehicle Homicide
Pamela Sundquist was convicted of multiple charges following a trial in Norfolk Superior Court.

Canton, MA — A West Bridgewater woman has been convicted of killing an Easton resident in a 2013 crash.
Wednesday, Pamela Sundquist, 33, was convicted of motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and assault and battery with a deadly weapon, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's office. All three convictions result from the 2013 car accident that killed 32-year-old Christopher Wengler.
“We are pleased that the jury gave careful consideration to the evidence here and has held Mr. Sundquist responsible for her conduct,” District Attorney Morrissey said in a statement.

At 1:32 am on Dec. 31, 2013, a Ford Edge operated by Sundquist crashed head-on into Wengler's Honda Accord on Route 138 in Stoughton, near the Canton line. Wengler was rushed to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He did not survive his injuries.
Investigators say Sundquist was driving 35 mph over the speed limit at the time of the crash. She was charged on Jan. 2, 2014.

Sundquist is scheduled to be arraigned on June 29.
