Woman in Fatal Crash Near Stoughton-Canton Line Gets Prison Time
Pamela Sundquist, 34, of West Bridgewater, was sentenced to two years in the Norfolk County House of Correction.

Canton, MA – A West Bridgewater woman convicted of killing an Easton man in a car crash will spend time behind bars.
Pamela Sundquist, 34, was sentenced Wednesday to two years in the Norfolk County House of Correction, according to the Norfolk District Attorney's office. Last week, she was convicted of motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
The Commonwealth requested three to five years and five years of probation, District Attorney Michael Morrissey said.

At 1:32 am on Dec. 31, 2013, a Ford Edge operated by Sundquist crashed head-on into a Honda Accord on Route 138 in Stoughton, near the Canton line. Wengler was rushed to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. The driver of the Accord, Christopher Wengler of Easton, did not survive his injuries.
Wengler’s widow and another family member made victim impact statements before Sundquist was sentenced. Sundquist apologized in open court to the family and for her actions, the DA's office said.

Sundquist will serve her 2-year sentence at the House of Correction facility for women in Framingham.
