Worker Falls 15 Feet At Canton Home Construction

CANTON, MA — A 19-year-old man suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive after falling about 15 feet from the second floor of a home Tuesday morning.

Fire Chief Charles Doody said the department responded shortly before 10 a.m. to a report of a worker that fell at 49 Beaumont St., where two homes are in the beginning stages of construction. The man was working the construction site when he fell from the second floor.

The man was taken to Boston Medical Center with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
