A two-alarm house fire displaced four people in East Boston Monday.

The blaze broke out around 1 p.m. at 1215 Bennington Street, fire officials say.

Officials say the fire burned through the backside of the wood frame house.

The blaze inflicted roughly $150,000 in damage. It’s not known what caused the fire.
