Matt Chardavoyne of Charlestown - a Charlestown Boys & Girls Club Alumni and Leadership Committee member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston’s (BGCB) “Friends Council” – recently helped the group’s annual fundraiser at the Ritz Charlton, Boston – “A Night with Friends” - exceed its goal of raising $50,000 to help bolster aquatic programs at all of the BGCB Clubs, so that all members learn to swim.
The Friends Council is BGCB’s networking group for young professionals who are interested in philanthropy and provides networking opportunities for the City’s future leaders who share a desire to help urban youth.

Guests at the event enjoyed a performance from the Jordan Boys & Girls Club’s dancers, a silent auction, raffle and danced to music provided by DJ Dre Soundz.
