Another Charlestown Break-In Has Police Eyeing Same Suspect

Police think the same man has been breaking into homes in the early-morning hours.

CHARLESTOWN, MA — The suspect wanted in a recent indecent assault is thought to be the same man who broke into another Charlestown home in the early-morning hours earlier this month.

Police said a man on Sunday morning around 3 broke into a woman's apartment and stole several personal items. A witness described the man as a black male around 20, 6 feet tall, thing, and wearing dark clothing.

Police say the suspect description and crimes lead them to believe it was the same man who broke into a woman's home near Old Ironsides Way earlier in the month. The woman said she woke to the man assaulting her.
